Earlier tests for Le Gastronomia, separate from the gift-box campaign: filled chocolate bonbons cut open on wood, coral linen and marble, with the plaid box and tins in three frames.
The gift-box campaign was about the packaging. These earlier tests go inside. Each bonbon is cut in half to show what it holds: caramel, a white cream, a green pistachio layer, a dark fruit centre. The cross-section is the whole argument.
Surfaces change from frame to frame: a wood round on coral linen, a teak board on butter-yellow cloth, white marble, a single bonbon on a marble coaster against walnut. The chocolate stays the same warm brown, so the variety reads as a menu rather than a mood board.
The plaid packaging returns in three frames, a box of six truffles on dark wood and tins of chocolate pearls on mint green. They tie the tests to the brand people already know, without letting the box take over again.
