A concept for Breton: the Catamarã outdoor sofa and the Stark dining table, set under a black pergola beside a dark pool as the garden lights come on.
The set is lit for the hour after sunset. Strips under the sofa base glow on the stone, uplights catch the young trees along the fence, and the pool turns into a black mirror that repeats the whole terrace.
The wides are symmetrical, the pergola framing the sofa like a stage, with the long timber table in front of it in some frames and the pool in front in others. The lines of the pergola slats lead straight to the centre cushion.
The tall close-ups are about the build: a woven rope base under a teak ledge, a deep cushion in pale fabric. Three versions of the same corner test the upholstery texture, the kind of comparison a brand makes before choosing its finish.
