Carol Gama and Raquel Anadia's Suíte Infantil Eterno Afeto at CASACOR Goiânia 2024: a child's bedroom, desk and bathroom in oak and terracotta, under a hand-painted frieze.
The room is drawn for someone small. Shelves curve into arches lit from inside, one of them holding a soft toy in a round seat, another a stack of books and a white rabbit. The desk stands on legs of stacked wooden spheres.
A painted frieze of leaves and loose shapes runs above the oak panelling, the only loud thing in a room of oak, linen and a deep blue rug. The single bed sits low, with a burnt-orange side table at its shoulder.
The bathroom keeps the warmth: terracotta tiles, a plant bed along the window, a lit mirror and a basin resting on a bear-shaped stand. Wide frames show the plan; tall ones stay with the objects. A white mushroom lamp on a red side table finishes the bed corner.
