A concept for L'Oeil: the Calamata and Tess beds, the Link desk, the Nanquim bench and the Maya loungers, re-rendered in tall frames across terracotta rooms, a forest, a concrete studio and the sea.
Each piece gets a setting that explains it. The Calamata bed sits in a terracotta room with wooden beams and an arched window. The Tess bed appears in a pale panelled room and on a mossy forest floor under falling light, made up as if someone slept there.
The Link desk is shown in a concrete studio with a planted ceiling light, first with a woman working at it, then close on its curved walnut shell. The Maya loungers move outside: striped cushions on rocks above a cove, terracotta cushions beside a long pool.
Every frame is tall, cut for the phone, and keeps the piece low and large in the picture. The Nanquim bench opens the series in a bare concrete room with sun falling across it, the quietest frame of the twelve.
