A concept for Roche Bobois: a desert house of stone and walnut, its green bouclé sofas sitting against the light of the Sonoran afternoon.
Some furniture needs a house that can stand up to it. The concept gives Roche Bobois's green bouclé a stone house in the desert, with a pool at the front and walnut everywhere inside.
The palette is taken from the place: sand, terracotta, the green of the cactus, oxblood tile in the bathroom. The sofas are the only soft thing in the house, which is the point.
The set walks through it the way a visitor would, from the pool to the living room, the kitchen and finally the bath.
