Walnut, linen, jute.

A smaller test, and a stricter one: three materials, used everywhere. Walnut for the kitchen fronts, the bed frames and the wardrobes. Linen for the throws and the curtains. Jute for every rug. The rooms were empty; the studio staged them, and the walls, windows and floors are the house's own.

The living room gets a grey sofa, a low bench and a bright open plan to the dining table. The kitchen gets subway tile, open shelves, a few herbs and a runner. Outside, the slate courtyard and the striped lawn are left almost as found, with a few planters.

The bathrooms keep to the palette, black fittings, white stone, a walnut vanity, and a fig tree in the corner. As with every staged frame, the empty originals are kept, so the house can always be shown as it really is.
