Natan Gil's Casa 02 at CASACOR São Paulo 2024: a whole house in rough lime plaster and cream stone, lit by planted openings where tropical leaves press against the glass.

The house is carved rather than built. Walls are hand-rough lime plaster, the floor runs pale and seamless, and the windows are not views but planted boxes, green set into the white like openings in a cave.

Everything else is quiet on purpose: a low bed, a free-standing tub under the leaves, a long dining table, a kitchen counter in pale stone, a single block of rock in a corner, clothes on a rail.

The pictures alternate wide and tall frames to show both the plan and the height. The light is kept warm and low, so the plaster shows its texture and the green stays the only colour.
