ibis Morumbi, photographed for Accor from the tower to the table: a bar drawn in black and white, the restaurant, warm-lit rooms, and breakfast in close-up, bread, fruit, juice and a set plate.
Economy hotels are usually shot fast and flat. This one gets the treatment of a restaurant. The tower opens the set in blue sky, then the bar with its hand-drawn counter, the restaurant in red and wood, and a work corner under a wall of words.
The rooms are small and the pictures admit it, but the lamps are on and the light is warm, so the white beds and red curtains feel like a place to sleep rather than a price. One frame per room is portrait, for the booking app.
Half the set is breakfast, because breakfast is what guests remember. Bread rolls in rows, bananas and apples in crates, a lime drink and an orange one side by side, a fork and knife on a printed napkin, and a full plate laid for one.
