A glass house in the Reserva Itanhangá, listed by Novi: a living room two storeys high, a black steel stair, a timber wall with a teal console and screened terraces opening onto the forest.
The walls here are glass from floor to ceiling, so the forest becomes the decoration. The shoot stays on an overcast day on purpose: no hard sun on the white floor, no glare in the panes, and the green outside reads soft and close.
The sequence follows the volume. A long frame of the living room from the stair, the dining table under the window line, a timber wall with a teal console below the television, then a view straight down from the gallery onto the chairs and the floor.
Upstairs, a bedroom with a timber headboard and the trees in the door, and two screened terraces built out into the canopy, one with a table and four chairs, one left empty. Both are framed from inside, so the screen disappears and the trees fill the picture.
