Shade on the river beach.

The space is a beach given a plan. Pergolas of raw logs mark out rooms on the sand and on timber decks: a dining table here, a pair of hanging chairs there, a rattan lounge on paving, two woven cabanas facing the water.

The shoot opens on the shore and its loungers, then works through each pergola in turn, keeping the beams in frame so every corner reads as part of the same structure.

Daylight was hard and bright. The pictures hold the whites of the cushions and the sky, and keep the timber and rattan warm without pushing them orange.
