Zalora sells hundreds of beauty brands, and its image bank needs a picture for each aisle. The answer here is one set per category. A rose toner, a face mask and a cream on a pink plinth with roses. A sunscreen in a blue bottle against blue balloons. Lip products standing on a mirror that reflects a cloudy sky.

Texture is the second subject. Foundations stand in pools of their own shades, from ivory to deep tan, the liquid spreading into each other. Mascara wands lie on grey beside the strokes they leave in blue, black and brown. Eyeshadow and blush compacts sit open on lilac, loose pigment crumbled around them like dust.

Haircare closes the set in warmer tones. Bond-repair bottles on wooden plinths with a paddle brush and a comb, a hair styler and a straightener on peach, a minoxidil box, conditioner and shampoo in white bottles splashed with foam. Every frame stays a portrait, four by five, ready for the app's category pages.
