Zalora's brief was summer makeup that reads at thumbnail size, and the answer is colour used as a line. Electric-blue liner flicks out past the lid in a single graphic stroke, sharp enough to survive any crop. A black turtleneck and a white wall keep everything else out of the way, so the eye goes straight to the wing.

Then the colour floods the lid. One look runs neon yellow into orange like a sunset, worn with crystal drop earrings and a lilac shirt. Two others wash the lids in soft lilac, eyes closed, mid-laugh, with a warm brick lip and a flush of blush. The joy is in the gesture, never in a pose held for the camera.

The set ends with two friends cheek to cheek, one in cobalt shadow, the other in lime green, in plain red and blue tops. It turns a makeup tutorial into a moment between people, the kind of picture a shopper would send to a friend before buying the palette.
