Snack-bar burgers.

These are working pictures, made for a delivery app and seen at thumbnail size first, so the food fills the frame. A bacon cheeseburger on a slate round over a navy cloth, cheese running down the sides. A hot dog piled with shoestring potatoes on slate against brown.

The snack-bar frames are warmer and busier: an X-burger with a fried egg and lettuce on white paper, fresh tomatoes beside it; an overhead of long sandwiches and fries on paper, a bottle of cola at the corner.

No smoke, no props that would not arrive in the bag. The light is soft and from one side, the depth of field shallow enough to drop the background and keep the bun sharp. The masters are kept without logos, so each restaurant can brand them its own way.
