A concept for Artefacto: the Papillon chaise, the Guell sofa and the Eduardo coffee table, staged first in a concrete loft and then out in the Brazilian cerrado at sunset.

The set starts indoors. A navy chaise on a walnut frame and a grey sectional sit in a double-height concrete loft, the light falling in long stripes across the floor, and the Eduardo table sits between them in glass and polished steel.

Then the table goes outside, alone. It stands on red rock above a valley at sunrise and on dry grass among twisted cerrado trees, its steel frame reflecting the orange of the sky and the earth.

The landscape frames are a gamble that works. A coffee table has no business in the savanna, which is exactly why the picture stops you. Back in a white room, the last frame looks along the steel at floor level, where it catches the window light.
