Afternoon on the sideboard.

A home catalogue has hundreds of small objects and they rarely get a room. Here each one gets a corner of its own: a marble lamp on a console, a green vase on a dark sideboard, a moka pot on a tiled counter next to a cup.

The light is the house style. It comes low from one side and throws leaf shadows across the wall, so every picture feels like the same hour of the same afternoon, whether the product is a sofa or a sugar bowl.

The furniture frames use that light at room scale. A slatted round table, a long beige sofa and an oak buffet stand in quiet rooms with the sun striping the floor. Plants at the edge of the frame cast the shadows.
