Bunks in the wall.

The beds are rooms within the room. Studio Marca builds them into oak boxes with a light line along each ceiling, a ladder to the top one and a reading shelf in every niche. Chunky knitted throws and checked cushions do the rest.

Below the bunks, the furniture is cut to a child's height: a play kitchen in oak and cane, a mushroom stool, a desk with a cane back, a wooden cart planted with greens. Baskets of soft toys and a red mushroom cushion sit on the floor.

The bath is plastered in rose, with a pink and red striped vanity under a mirror framed in woven rattan, and a low step for small feet. Open shelves and a cane wardrobe hold small white clothes, with potted plants lined along the top.
