Absolut Vodka in a concept for Pernod Ricard: the clear bottle with a highball and a rosemary tonic on a pool deck, at a thatched beach bar, on a marble bar counter and in a splash on deep blue.
The bottle is clear and the lettering blue, so the set goes looking for water. A pool deck with a towel and an open magazine, two drinks beside the bottle, light coming off the surface. A palm-thatched beach bar at sunset, the sea behind.
Then the water becomes a colour. On a deep-blue set striped with palm shadow, the bottle stands beside a tall glass with an orange twist. In the last frame it is hit by a splash, droplets hanging in the air against the same ultramarine.
A single bar frame keeps the drink in company, a martini and a vodka tonic on marble with lemons and nuts, the room soft behind. It is the frame that sells the serve, where the others sell the colour.
