Monin's fruit syrups in ten frames: tangerine, raspberry, lychee, passion fruit, watermelon, green apple, grapefruit and Sicilian lemon, each lying among its fruit or poured into a glass at the bar.
Half the set is the market, half is the bar. On dark rustic wood, each small bottle lies among its own fruit: passion fruit split to the seeds, lychees peeled to the pearl, watermelon in wedges, lemons with their leaves.
The other half stands on a marble bar top, a wall of bottles soft behind. Now the syrup is a drink: raspberry over crushed ice with mint, watermelon in a tall glass, grapefruit with a wedge on the rim. Same bottle, in the place it is bought for.
Watermelon and grapefruit appear in both settings, which makes the pairing explicit. A buyer sees what the flavour is made from and what it turns into, side by side, and the bottle never changes size or angle between them.
